Mariana's Song
Mariana's Song is a one-to-one multi-sensory experience for older people living in care homes with advanced dementia. Facilitated by theatre, material design, and magical interaction to support Creative Ageing practice.
Jayne is Professor of Craft, Digital Creativity and Wellbeing in the School of Design at Northumbria University, Newcastle and based in the CoCreate research group. She leads the Ageless Citizen theme on the CDC with Ahmed Kharrufa. Her research explores the potential of design, digital technologies, and the act of making to support sense of self across a range of human contexts.
